Beam division

With this script can:

• at will beam divisions be inserted on basis of 8th or 16th
• beam groups out of little note values further be subdivided
• all beams be interrupted between little and normal notes.

Procedure:

• Mark the whole score and put the setting under Format → Systems → General on ‘Whole bar beams’ or in some cases on ‘Large beam groups’ (e.g. when one wants to see always a beam division in the middle of the bar in a score with 4/4 meter).
• Mark the whole score and put the setting under Format → Beams on ‘Automatic’.
• Open the script and insert the beam division.
