- Pedal
Brackets
-
The
script generates under the marked notes a pedal bracket. The ends of
the brackets can be selected. The pedal brackets can be recalculated
for the whole score.
-
Procedure:
-
Mark
range and raise the script.
-
The ends of the bracket can be
selected.
-
The sloping end ( ____o/ ) will be
pulled till under the last marked note or rest.
-
The right end of a bracket ( ____|o
) will be pulled right in front of the last marked note note or
rest.
-
The special right end ( ____o__| )
and the open end ( ____o__ ) will be be pulled either right in front
of the next note or rest, or right under the bar line if that is
adjoining the marked zone.
-
From
capella 7 the following is in force: when one expands the marking
till under an explicit bar line, the special right end of a bracket
( ____o__| ) will be pulled unto the next note or rest. In this case
a sloping end is not recommended.
-
In order to delete the brackets
they have to be marked with [Tab]. The brackets are realized as
polygons (without surface) and for that reason marking with the
mouse is not possible.
-
The
brackets can be recalculated for the whole score.
